DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Empire No. 7" crystal regulator, 8 day, time and strike, spring driven movement in a glazed gilt brass case with urn finial, cream porcelain dial and blued steel hands.
CONDITION:
The gilt brass and bronze case in nice condition with a lot of the gilding intact. Some tarnish on upward facing surfaces. Signed porcelain dial is perfect with original hands. All four beveled glass panels are in good condition. Strikes on a cathedral gong. Proper two-vial pendulum simulating a compensating pendulum.The movement is signed.
